Please Note: Students, who are eligible to spar – should bring their gear to every class

May is MOMS’ Month

To help celebrate Mother’s Day, Moms can take karate lessons FREE for the month of
May. Moms (aunts, grand moms) can take any class that fits their schedule: their
child’s class, the parent /child class or an adult class. Please join us, have some fun,
learn a lot and share some special time with your family.

                                  FREE Women’s Self Defense Clas
                       Our next session of Free Women’s Self -Defense Classes will held on
                         Tuesday - May 7 and Thursday - May 9 from 7:00-8:00PM.
                                      You are welcome to attend either evening or both!
                         Please encourage women, ages 12 and older, to attend this safety
                                                         awareness and self-defense class.

                                                                      Memorial Day Closing
                                                       There will be NO CLASSES on Saturday-May 25
                                                                        and Monday-May 27
                                                             due to the Memorial Day Weekend.

Food Donation Update:

Thank you to everyone, at the tournament, who contributed food for the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf. We donated 64lbs. of food thanks to your generosity. The donation was very much appreciated by the staff at the food shelf.

Because the Greece Food Shelf has seen a dramatic increase in community need - we will continue to keep a container for food donations near the front desk.

All donations are GREATLY appreciated!

VERY SPECIAL NOTE:

Barb & Ron Keiser were voted the “Greece Business Persons of the Year”
by the Greece Chamber of Commerce. The awards Banquet was held at
the Marriott Hotel on Thursday, April 25^th and was attended by many
dignitaries and especially Barb & Ron’s Family and our ARIKATA Staff.
The award relates to the work we do at the dojo and in the community.
